तीय विहाम्रो अन्तरजावाह नभएको हुँदो हो त सायद धेरै वर्षसम्मै जातीय संकीर्णताले मेरो मनमा डेरा जमाएर बस्थ्यो होला । अन्तरजातीय विवाह विरलै हने समयमा श्रेष्ठ परिवारमा जन्मेर पनि सुवेदी परिवारको छोरीसँग अन्तरजातीय विवाह गर्न सक्ने मान्छे म । एक किसिमले समाजसँग नडराउने , अरूले के भन्लान् भन्ने वास्ता नगरीकन समाजलाई पेल्न सक्ने मान्छे म । म आफूलाई हिम्मत भएकै व्यक्ति सम्झन्थे । मभित्र कुनै किसिमको जातीय संकुचन छैन भन्ठान्थे । तर मभित्र पनि अन्तरकुन्तरमा संकुचित भावना लुकिरहेको रहेछ । तीजको दिन थियो । मेरो मुखबाट अनायास संकुचित गलत शब्द फुत्त निस्केको थियो । जुन कारणले पत्नी यशोदाको सामु तीन चार वर्षसम्मै म लज्जित भएको थिएँ । कहिलेकाहीँ त्यो कुरा सम्झिंदा अहिले पनि नमज्जा लाग्छ । पछिल्ला वर्षहरूमा महिलाका लागि हरितालिका तीजले एउटा राष्ट्रिय चाडकै रूप लियो । तर मेरो र यशोदाको बिहेताक तीजले अहिलेजस्तो व्यापक रूप लिइसकेको थिएन । २०२३ / २४ सालतिर तीजका दिन जितपुर । फेदीबाट सुन्धारामा रहेको सञ्चय कोषको अफिस आउँदा बालाजुतिर कतै पाँच / सात जना त कतै १२ / १५ जनाको समूहसमूहमा बसेर महिलाहरू थपडी बजा...
